This technologically advanced science and laboratory building is 130,000 square feet. Design is organized around an open lab concept that integrates highly flexible technical systems with both distributed and core support functions. This optimizes program flexibility for research in molecular biosciences, integrated biotechnology and reproductive biology.
Electrical systems include:
- Special laboratory electrical
- Emergency power backup for the entire future buildout of the research park
- Secondary unit substation
- Medium voltage primary
- Low volt lighting control
- Tele/data
- Fire alarm
- Security
- Access control
